The Process

APPLY FOR A CALL

After your application is accepted, you’ll get a payment link and access to Kelly’s calendar to book your call. Then, you’ll receive our book consultation questionnaire via email.

SEND CONTENT FOR REVIEW

Send along the questionnaire plus any content you’d like Kelly to review before your call – a partial manuscript, book proposal, blog, website, YouTube videos and anything else you’d like her to see. NOTE: Kelly does not currently work on AI-written or AI-edited content. If you have used AI to write or rewrite your content, this consult is not a good fit.

ENJOY YOUR CONSULTATION

​During your one-hour call with Kelly, you’ll put your heads together to resolve the most difficult issues you’re facing. After your call, you’ll get a link to the recording to download and keep.

WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT?

You’ll receive two dedicated hours with Kelly:

First Hour: In advance of your call, Kelly will spend up to an hour reviewing your materials and preparing answers to your questions. You may send her your manuscript, partial manuscript, book proposal, website, social media, essays or any other content you would like. She will also review a detailed consultation questionnaire that you will receive and fill out upon booking your consultation.

Second Hour: Together on a private, recorded Zoom call, Kelly will carefully walk you through her thoughts and provide guidance to help you get from where you are now to reaching your goals.

  • You are committed to the craft of writing without AI
  • You have a solid idea in place for your book topic and have some writing to share
  • You’ve already started building an audience and platform

If any of these apply, this consultation may not be the best fit for you:

  • You are making use of AI to write, rewrite or edit your words
  • You are writing poetry or a children’s picture book
  • You aren’t certain what your book should be about and/or haven’t started writing
